Start from the job, not the service name. Sending one part to prove a design? That's product development. Need 10 to 1,000+ of the same part? Small-batch production. Only have a sketch or a broken part? CAD & reverse engineering or niche & obsolete parts. Not sure? Send the brief and we'll route it.
Yes, that's normal. A typical job runs CAD from your sketch, a prototype to approve, then a production batch, and we can pack and ship the finished units to your customers. One point of contact across the whole path.
We run from one workshop in Bournemouth, Dorset, and ship across the UK, usually next-day once a job is printed. Files stay in the UK, no offshore subcontracting.
Yes. A hand sketch, a phone photo, or a sample part is enough to start. Re-engineering from non-CAD inputs is our day job, and the first £300 of CAD work is on us when the job goes ahead.
our team, the two founders. Every quote, every print, every shipment passes through one of us. No account managers, no ticket queues.
We mainly run FDM (fused deposition modelling): a nozzle melts plastic filament and builds your part layer by layer from a CAD file. We also use SLA resin and SLS/MJF nylon when a job calls for them. Send a file, sketch, photo or sample part and we slice it, print it on calibrated machines, then finish and ship it.
FDM is the workhorse · strong, cost-effective and the widest material range, ideal for functional parts and batches. SLA resin gives the finest detail and smoothest finish for visual models. SLS and MJF nylon make tough parts with complex geometry and no supports. Tell us the part and we will pick the right process, or combine them.
As a rule of thumb we hold around ±0.2mm on FDM, and tighter on SLA and SLS. Real-world accuracy depends on part size, geometry, material and orientation, so we orient and design the print to protect the dimensions that matter. Flag the critical features on your brief and we will confirm what is achievable before you commit.
