3D Printing Express began with one printer on a garage workbench. This is the journey since: the workshops, the breakthroughs, and the brands we have made parts for along the way.
Every stage started the same way it does for you: a brief, a part, a problem to solve. Here is how one printer in a garage grew into a UK parts studio.
One 3D printer on a garage workbench, run around a university course. By the end of the year we had our first paying client, and had already jumped from consumer prints to B2B work, including large-scale exhibition builds for Hasbro and an F1 experience.
We moved into a proper workshop room while still studying. This was the year of our first 1,000-unit order, the start of designing directly with brands, and our first marine build: a custom, saltwater-grade body kit for The Jet Ski Life.
Freddy came on board and we moved into a bigger unit. 3D Printing Express Limited was formally incorporated. We took on turnkey production for Pebbl Innovations, 200 branded safety caps for Whale Tankers, and branded trade-show giveaways for DURABLE (UK).
We moved into the business centre at Broadstone. We printed fleet components for Beryl Bikes, and a robotic arm of over 100 parts that we helped print won an award at Bournemouth University's Festival of Design and Engineering.
Today we run two UK workshops, hold 25+ engineering materials, and have shipped over 9,500 parts this year at a 4.9-star rating. From a single prototype to a full production run, designed, printed and finished in-house. Still improving with every job, and every brief is still the start of the next chapter.
