3D-printed pieces
that hit stand-day.
You have the idea. We have the machines, the materials, and a track record of not missing stand-day.
The pieces that fill the frame. The activations nobody forgets. They all started with a brief, a date, and a builder who said yes.
3D printing for events and brand activations is the on-demand fabrication of bespoke props, exhibition pieces, branded run pieces, and large-scale installations for UK live events. It replaces the cost and lead time of injection moulding or hand-sculpting with a 14-day path from creative brief to finished, venue-compliant pieces shipped UK-wide.

Most agencies come to us mid-panic with a date they cannot move. The job is to send back something real in 48 hours so they can walk into their client meeting with a piece in their hand, not a promise.
Venue-compliant materials
What we print in for live events.
Every event piece is matched to the venue's fire-rating, the brief's structural load, and the brand's surface-finish requirements. These are the grades that pass the spec on UK event sites.
| Material | Fire rating | Structural use | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| PC-FR (flame-retardant polycarbonate) | UL94 V-0 | High impact, transparent option | ExCeL / NEC / Olympia / O2 fire-rated builds, illuminated panels |
| ABS-FR (flame-retardant ABS) | UL94 V-0 | Tough, paintable | Fire-rated activation enclosures, branded prop housings |
| PA12-CF (carbon-fibre nylon) | HB | High stiffness + low warp, structural-grade | Public-interaction load-bearing pieces, 2m+ structural props |
| PA12-Nylon (engineering nylon) | HB | Tough, fatigue-resistant | Hinges, mechanisms, repeat-use brand activation kit |
| Clear-cast PETG | HB | Optical clarity, glass-substitute | Display cases, illuminated pieces, layered visuals |
| PLA / PLA+ | HB | Easy to finish, paint-receptive | Sanded-and-painted hero pieces for indoor photography |
Material data sheets and fire-rating certificates supplied with every venue-bound job. UL94 V-0 grades are the standard ask at ExCeL, NEC, Olympia, and O2 — we cross-reference the venue's spec before quoting.
Pantone-matched paint
Sand, prime, two coats. We match to your brand swatch or a Pantone code. Consistent across full runs of 100 or more.
Hand-applied chrome & metallics
Brushed gold, silver chrome, rose-gold. Applied by hand in Bournemouth, not outsourced. Used on the Bruff Drinks globes.
Matte, gloss, rubberised
Sanded smooth for photography. Matte black for on-stand presence. Rubberised soft-touch when tactile feel matters.
Clear-cast PETG
Optically clear to show internal geometry or printed inclusions. Used for display cases, enclosed lighting, and layered visuals.
Fire-rated materials
UL94 V-0 for ExCeL, NEC, Olympia, and O2 venues. Material data sheets and fire certificates with every job.
Structural engineering
2m+ pieces with internal steel cores where needed. Rated for public interaction at outdoor festivals and experiential builds.

What this does for the brand
Bespoke pieces vs the usual route.
Most event budgets get spent on the same handful of formats. Here is how a bespoke 3D-printed piece compares on the things brand and marketing leads actually get measured on: photo capture, brand recall, dwell time, and what survives the event.
Bespoke 3D-printed pieces outperform branded merchandise, vinyl signage, and hired generic props on every metric brand and marketing leads get measured on: they become the centrepiece of social capture, they stay remembered as a moment instead of a stand, they are 100% custom to the brand world, and they leave the brand with an asset it owns and can re-use across activations.
| Activation format | Photo & social capture | Brand recall (post-event) | Customisation | What you walk away with |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bespoke 3D-printed piece | Centrepiece. People queue to photograph it. | High. Remembered as a moment, not a stand. | 100% to the brand world. | An asset the brand owns and can re-use. |
| Branded merch giveaways | Low. Goes in the bag, not on the feed. | Short. Lost or binned within a week. | Logo on a stock item. | Unit cost adds up across attendee numbers. |
| Vinyl banners & printed graphics | Background only. Skipped by the camera. | Medium during, low after. | Brand applied to flat surface. | Single-use. Folded into storage or skipped. |
| Hired generic props | Recognisable as rented. Diluted brand link. | Low. Could have belonged to anyone. | Off-the-shelf with brand stickers. | Returned to the rental company. |
Outcomes based on 3DPE post-event reviews with brand and agency clients across the 2025-26 event season.
