3D Printing Express Limited (Companies House 16539272) takes your privacy seriously. We only collect personal data you give us directly (name, email, phone, file uploads) for the purpose of quoting and delivering printing services. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
What we collect
- Contact details you submit via the quote form (name, email, phone).
- Files you upload for quoting (STL, STEP, photos).
- Standard server logs (IP address, browser, referrer) for security and analytics.
- Cookies set by Google Analytics 4 (anonymised) and Microsoft Clarity (anonymised heatmaps and session recordings) · see our Cookies page.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are retained for 3 years. Uploaded files are kept for 10 years unless you ask us to delete them.
3D Printing Express plugins in ChatGPT
Our ChatGPT plugins (3D Printing Express Materials, Compare, Files, Parts and Strength) answer questions from our published material data. When you use one, ChatGPT sends it the details needed to answer, such as the materials or conditions you describe. We use those details only to produce the answer and do not store them.
We keep a small usage log: which plugin and tool was used, when, an anonymous conversation reference provided by ChatGPT (it does not identify you), and which links in our answers were clicked. We use it to see which plugins are useful. It is stored by Cloudflare, which hosts the plugins, and deleted automatically after 12 months. The conversation itself is handled by OpenAI under OpenAI’s own privacy policy. If you then send us a quote request, the sections above apply.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Email hello@3dprintingexpress.co.uk with the subject “GDPR request” and we will respond within 30 days.
